What does the advert communicate to the audience? How might an audience react after seeing the advert? Denotation In this WaterAids advert, I can see a poor kid demonstrating poverty. There is a : slogan , logo which is an exa mple of written and verbal codes. The slogan also demonstrates that the people there are in a bad state in there life. I can see some Symbolic or non verbal code such as the typography which demonsrates the blur behind the boy and the context. The boy face stands out for the consumers to help. Connotation In the WaterAids advert, the connotations of colour scheme beige and white could represent to donate some money to these orphans and poor people.
